Influence Dimensions
The number one problem for people at work
After more than fifteen years of involvement with hundreds of
Australian organisations we didn't find it hard to identify the Number
One problem in most workplaces. Employees and managers don't find it
hard either.
The Number One problem is that people communicate poorly.
We regularly observed serious communication problems in the workplace.
We found a lot of evidence to suggest that even small communication
difficulties, if ignored or managed badly, can result in major
conflict and performance management problems.
We also noticed that these problems are often addressed far too late,
usually well after the damage is done.
People bring the Number One problem with them to work every day
because they're people. The difficulties arise from the ways we
interact, our of language, and the nonverbal and unconscious
behaviours we engage in.
A solution that starts to work as soon as people do
^TOP
We wanted to design a developmental tool that would give people more
awareness of their own communicative behaviours and some immediate
practical approaches to improving their effectiveness.
We saw the need for a new generation tool that would move beyond
personality and team profiling, and would give people.
·
Data presented in a simple and user friendly way
·
Information they can easily remember
·
Feedback that doesn't put them in fixed categories or
stick labels on them.
·
Some techniques that can be used immediately, the very
next day, in the workplace.
The Influence Dimensions systems is the result.
Influence Dimensions is a process for profiling individual and
interactive communication styles in a way that helps people achieve
immediate practical outcomes, regardless of their workplace situation.
One-day workshop
^TOP
To introduce the process we have developed a one-day workshop designed
for all managers, supervisors, trainers and consultants. The workshop
teaches influence skills that can be applied immediately and
intuitively in the areas of team building, negotiation and conflict
resolution, learning and development, recruitment and selection,
induction and training.
You'll work through the profiling process yourself, receive feedback
on your own individual and interactive styles, and learn how the tool
can be used with other. You'll also receive the detailed 72-page
Influence Dimensions Workbook.
Accreditation

This workshop is the first step for those wishing to gain
accreditation in the use of Influence Dimensions: a series of
Train the Trainer sessions is also available.
