McPhee Andrewartha is a psychological consultancy firm that was established in 1978 by the founders Graham Andrewartha and Susan McPhee. In setting up the firm Graham and Susan were driven by three overarching goals – to provide quality solutions to difficult people problems, to do interesting work, and to create a culture of like-minded consultants. Four decades later McPhee Andrewartha remains true to these same three goals.
With offices in Adelaide and Melbourne, and affiliate offices in all other Australian capital cities, McPhee Andrewartha provides a broad range of psychological and consultancy services, which aim at solving people problems at the individual, team, and organisational level. We work with a large number of government, corporate, tertiary and not-for-profit community service organisations across both metropolitan and regional Australia. We have also been engaged in overseas assignments in Asia, including in China, Indonesia and the Philippines.
We have a hands-on, practical approach to leadership and people management issues, which is also recognised academically. We are well respected for our capacity to develop our own products, which are designed to be tailored for individual organisations. This is further typified by our best-selling textbook, Developing Management Skills: A comprehensive guide for leaders, now in its fifth edition, and used by multiple MBA programs across Australia.
Professionally, we are a corporate members of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association of Australia (EAPAA), Family Business Association (FBA), Resolution Institute (Australia), Acting Aging Australia, and the Association of Workplace Investigators (Australia). We also have links to the University of South Australia Business School, and are a Quality Certified Company (688) to ISO 9001:2008.
